I had the pleasure of creating psychedelic visuals and an aftermovie for a psychedelic trance event organized by the Leśna Szajka crew. This time, the PsyWest Crew from Szczecin brought amazing UV decorations created by Russian artist Andrew Pronin. Using high-quality photos, I produced 15-minute animations projected onto five decorative elements, which I live-mixed using MIDI controllers. The visuals were seamlessly integrated with the decorations, creating an illusion effect.
While editing the video clip, I aimed to capture the richness of the decorations, the artistic stalls, and the friendly vibe of the event’s participants. I used Adobe After Effects to apply tempo manipulation, light effects, and video modifications that enhance the psychedelic atmosphere.
