About me

Motion Designer

My name is Tomasz Rożyński (Dżin) and I'm passionate about computer graphics.
Dzin-tv Graphic Animator

I created my first computer graphics on an 8-bit Atari 800XL. I watched thousands of demoscene productions while actively participating in the Pengo group — my first contact with visual art.

The first event where I performed live visuals was Polish Psykick at GGoG club in Gdańsk, in 2005.

I’ve worked with some of the oldest psychedelic trance crews in Poland — Toga Dansverg, Moonunity, Jagodziani, Stay Psychedelic, Medulla Oblongata, Leśna Szajka, Fembot Electronics, Digital Disorder, No Comments Records.

Currently, I’m active under the nickname Dżin (dzin-tv). I strive to create original live visuals from scratch for every event. I use a mix of 2D and 3D techniques, often modeling twisted creatures and imaginary worlds in 3D.

I prefer very dynamic visuals, often dark, controlled via MIDI controllers. I try to stay open to new technologies and constantly search for innovative techniques and solutions.

Studio

Welcome to my studio — a cozy creative corner in a small room.

Equipment:

I place great importance on hardware quality and performance. The looks of the gear are secondary to me. My setup can run at full power day and night, pushing both the CPU and GPU to their limits. In my opinion, a desktop computer is the best solution in terms of performance.

If you're into computer graphics and animation, I hope to help guide you toward reliable solutions. Technology moves fast, so I recommend investing in future-ready platforms and upgrading the whole setup every 4 to 6 years on average.

For every event, I prepare brand new visual material. I create 3D scenes using Blender and Adobe After Effects. Because I care about maintaining the style I’ve developed over the years, I always aim to produce all my visuals from scratch. During each event, I mix visuals live in sync with the music.

If you're into visual art and happen to be at an event where I’m performing, come say hi and give me a high five!
