I had the pleasure of creating a video invitation, psychedelic visual projections, and an aftermovie. The next edition of the psychedelic trance events at Protokultura club took place in the open space in front of the venue. Together with the Protokultura crew, we built a geometric screen on which I projected live-mixed visuals. The video content for the visuals was prepared specifically to fit the geometry of the screen. For the first time, I used a wireless Xbox 360 controller to trigger psychedelic visuals, which allowed me to move around the club and encourage partygoers to interact with the visuals.
While creating the video invitation, I used my own photographs of the club’s surroundings to model 3D cranes. These cranes were then used as a base for visual frames displaying the names of the artists featured in the aftermovie soundtrack.
