Once again, I had the pleasure of taking part in a psychedelic trance event organized by the Leśna Szajka crew. Surrounded by nature, two music stages were set up, where I had the chance to enjoy a wide variety of pleasant and ear-catching sounds. As always, the festival grounds were prepared with great care and attention to detail. My task was to create visual projections for the chillout stage and to film and edit the aftermovie. Once again, we used the modular screen designed for the previous edition of Kwaśny Las, but this time in a different configuration. Combined with the hexadecimal decorations by 2deko, we managed to create a truly engaging composition. While shooting the video, I used a Zoom H2N microphone, which allowed me to capture high-quality audio from live performances. For the first time, I completely maxed out all available memory cards, ending up with 384GB of video footage. This massive amount of material significantly increased the complexity of the editing process, but on the other hand, gave me a wide range of shots to work with. This aftermovie is the longest film of its kind I’ve created so far. I really wanted to showcase the atmosphere and location of the festival — not just the music stages, as is often the case with this type of production. The music selection process took quite a while, but eventually I managed to curate the right tracks and blend them into one cohesive mix.
