The Leśna Szajka birthday celebration was quite an event! Together with the Swedish collectives Mindgamers and Trillah Hillah, we celebrated this special occasion in style. Breathtaking decorations were prepared for three stages, and the entire club space was fully transformed. I had the pleasure of designing the stage scenography for the alternative stage. I created a 3D scenography concept using the free software Blender. I then rendered the elements, which were prepared for milling and cutting (we used a laser for this process). After cutting the parts, building the frame, and assembling the structure, I created new animations in Blender and Adobe After Effects to complement the visuals. Especially for this event, I also put together a new hardware setup — a new laptop paired with an Akai Midimix MIDI controller — which worked brilliantly. I had a great time live-mixing visuals for artists such as Sourone, Red Sun Rising, Tengri, and Bladzinsky. There was no time to rest during Leśna Szajka's birthday party — so many amazing artists were performing, and I made sure to capture them for the official aftermovie. Thanks to the kind support of James Johansson, I was also able to use his camera footage, adding even more variety to the final film. The editing was done using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects. I also teamed up once again with dancer Adrianna, who crafted a new costume especially for the occasion. We filmed a few creative shots among the decorations, which fit beautifully into the aftermovie and captured the spirit of the alternative stage.
