Leśna Szajka Amora 5 - Aftermovie(2020)

Once again, together with the Leśna Szajka crew, we organized a Valentine’s Day event. For the occasion, the club was beautifully decorated with fluorescent elements — as participants entered, they felt as if they were stepping into another reality. I had the pleasure of designing the stage scenography and visuals for the main stage. I created a 3D model of a creature we named “Amorek” — a love-struck being fused with a crystal. The stage setup was designed in the free software Blender. I then rendered the components, which we cut out using a jigsaw. After cutting the elements, we assembled the structure based on the previously prepared concepts. For live visual mixing, I used my trusted setup with two Akai Midimix controllers. In addition to live-mixing visuals, I was also running around with a camera during the event to capture footage for the aftermovie. I edited the video using Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects, where — through some creative experimentation — I managed to develop new and interesting video transitions.
