For Leśna Szajka's Valentine’s event in the style of psychedelic trance and forest psychedelic, I designed a custom screen for displaying my original visual projections. Breaking away from current trends, we managed to build an asymmetrical screen together with the Leśna Szajka crew.
Due to the high level of compositional complexity, I first created a sketch that served as the basis for the construction. Then, using Blender, I designed a 3D composition precisely matched to the finished screen. To create the project, I used multiple techniques including 3D sculpting, texture painting, and animation of the rendered sequences in Adobe After Effects. During the event, I live-mixed the sequences using an Akai Midi Mix controller.
The high-quality video footage made it easier to integrate captivating sequences into the aftermovie — a visual mix set to the music of outstanding artists.
