For the Leśna Szajka birthday event in the psychedelic trance, forest psychedelic, and goa trance style, I designed a wooden screen for projecting my original visuals using visual mapping techniques. I created a series of sequences in 2x Full HD resolution, intended for projection using two beamers. The visuals were projected onto the custom-built screen, simulating rotating 3D objects.
To design the screen, I used Blender, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The elements were laser-cut from 6mm plywood and assembled using hot glue. The totem components were cut with a jigsaw and assembled into a complete structure. The animated sequences were created using Blender and Adobe After Effects. During the event, I live-mixed the visuals using an Akai Midi Mix controller.
The high-quality video material allowed me to create a music video — a visual mix synced to a track by the amazing artists Tengri and Hypnotizer, who performed live on stage during the event.
